I was at the bar but the space was configured differently. There was a new friendly face there and he was the owner or financier. He seemed to have been gone for a long time, and was back to check in. He was young and blonde and maybe a little gay. He was kind and happy. He was concerned with his own project and was only interested in his task, but he was social. It was a pleasant human being. I felt at ease around him. His energy dominated the space.
Steven and I had a strange task in front of us. A customer wanted to pay up with a check, but it had been ripped horizontally three times. We were trying to put the check back together but the image on the other side kept shifting and it was something that took way too long.
