Day One Of Phase One Of My Weight Loss Journey.

Phase one is to get back to the weight I was, before I started my last successful diet. Successful as in I lost 3 stone. Not sooo successful that I re gained all 3 stone plus an extra 2 stone for good measure…”Grrr!”

That was about 4 years ago. It has taken me this long to get myself back in the right frame of mind to start again, but with improvements. I need to lose 1st 10 lbs to get back to where I started off 4 years ago…

Though. I have got to get over the fact that I am starting all over with an extra 24 lbs to lose before I ‘Start over’…Humph! There is nothing I can do about it, other then learn from it. As I am losing weight I will be ‘teaching’ myself how to eat to maintain my new improved body…

Basically. I diet for the rest of my life. Or carry on so called yo-yo dieting, gaining extra each time, FFS! I weighed 7lbs more then my target weight, when I started dieting 22 years ago. Then I lost 2 stone in 10 weeks {I had just had a baby} through cutting down & walking more {I had, had to rest, because I had lost 2 babies before}

Anyway. Eat less. Move more. That is my new weight loss strategy. Well. I am counting calories {2000-calories} & aiming to burn 500-calories each day, until I get fitter & can increase the amount of exercise I am able to do…

I weighed myself this morning. I had gained back the weight I lost 2 weeks ago, when I was attempting AGAIN! to low carb. Basically. I gained 6 lbs. Had lost 1.5 lb, WTF! Sooo! Yes I am counting calories, but I am aiming to eat the recommended guideline for an average weight woman…

Surely if I maintain my average weight, my body will eventually catch up, after all I am not eating excess calories to maintain & build on my fat body…
