I was depressed like you
I wanted to die like you
And reading this I’m sure you’re doubting and wanting to jeer at the thought of a God
But I’m also sure the things you’ve heard or been taught about a God aren’t exactly true either.
We get so wrapped up in teaching kids to be a good person that they feel over whelmed and think that God only loves them if they’re perfect, but that’s not how it is.
God loves you and he’s thinking of you and he knows you’re going through this and it’s for a reason. You may not be able to see it yet but it’s waiting for you somewhere over this mountain.
As humans we’re not perfect. I’m not perfect. Physically and emotionally I am not what and my actions are not perfect.
But, God made me perfect. It’s society that distorts our outer view of beauty. It’s sin that makes me imperfect inside.
There’s a hope and it’s better than anything else out there. Believe me, I know.
