This morning I went to UNO to work on my UTEL finals. I finally remembered to use the FitDesk exercise bike in the basement of the library. It was great. I rode for 45 minutes while I took my first test. Then I went and meditated in the mindfulness room in HPER. The guy at the front desk said they are thinking about getting rid of it because no one uses it.
After my tests were finished I went back to HPER and did my Jessie’s Girl’s workout. It was great. Every time I went in the hallway to jump rope, there were two guys first having an ongoing conversation about Magnum versus trojan condoms and later about how one of their sister’s needs to get an abortion because having a baby would ruin her life.
I went home to change and then picked up Anna for book club at Sharon’s. Book club was a blast, per usual. Michelle and Lynn and new woman, Ann, Sharon’s neighbor were there. We sat on the screened in back porch and it was lovely.
I am thinking about sending him the Addiction book. I really want to but I’m not sure it’s the right thing to do. I will sit with it for a while and see what comes up around that.
I’m pleased with how I ate today. Salad all day and then a little tuna when I got home; a few chips with guac and salsa at book club, but not too many.
Three good things:
I’m looking forward to yoga tomorrow.
I’m looking forward to spending time with Laura tomorrow and trying Via Farina.
I’m excited about Trollhaugen this weekend and I hope Chelsea comes with.
