December 30th / The end of the year cleaning

For Japanese people, New years is the biggest holiday of the year. Cleaning well before New Year is a traditional custom. We want to welcome a new year with the best circumstance. I have been doing some extra cleaning here and there and I clean well regurally, but since my hobby got a whole day off so I decided to do more cleaning today! 🙂

My morning ritual Day 73

1) Write down 3 acts of gratitude

I am grateful that I got a whole day to do around the house. I had a 6hour sleep straight . I am grateful that I am in a better mood and less irritated today!

2) Write one positive experice within 24 hours. I felt so tried all day  yesterday because of the lack of sleep. I needed to take a nap. As soon as I went to bed, I could tell that my body was shutting down….I totally gave in the feeling … I ended up sleeping for 30 minutes. After waking up, I felt better and more energized! Love the power nap 🙂

3)Exercise for 15 minutes         Ran 3 miles

4) Meditation                               I did 9 minutes meditation with audio

5)Write a letter to someone to express gratitude

Dear, coffee

I cannot live without coffee!! It gives me a pep first thing in the morning. It makes me feel so good and energized! I only allow myself to drink a couple of cups in the morning since I have insomnia. I wish I could drink all day! Thank you coffee!!🙂
