Something Just Like This

So I know its been a while. Hard to get to this long enough to write it all down. I always feel better after I write everything out. I did write one out back on Valentines day but it never uploaded so I guess I got a little discouraged on writing, but I am in a mood to get things off my chest.

So last Tuesday Romeo and I got away. A real romantic night. We had candle light whirlpool tub with bubble. Champagne with strawberries & Blueberries to snack on. Red velvet cake for dessert. Plus rose petals on the bed and leading to the whirlpool. The smell of lavender and vanilla filled the room. From the moment he walked into the room, the air filled with passion and love. His big brown eyes lit up with joy. He couldn’t believe all I went through for him. Especially after the week he and I had.

We jumped right into the bed, made love. He could not keep his hands off me. I watched in the mirror located on the side of the room as I straddled on top of him. I am a bit of a freak. He really isn’t, a true romeo. Soft, gentle, and slow. Sometimes though he’ll get a little rough.

After we got done we went into the whirlpool. With a little steam coming off the bubbly lavender scented water, we cuddled up and drank some champagne. I fed him some of his favorite blueberries. He held be so close. I could help but stare at him in the mirror and catch glimpses of him staring at me and smiling. I always knew he loved me, but I believe he truly fell even deeper in love with me after that night.  It was the first night we got to be alone, in a private room. It really hard for use because we must always sneak around. We actually got to hold each other and sleep. I slept cuddled up on his chest with his arms around me. I usually never sleep like that, but with him, I feel that is where I belong.

Then we had a loooooooooong weekend apart. We did not see each other for 5 days. All I could do was think about how much I enjoyed that night, all those beautiful things he said to me. The way his hands held me, the way he pushes my hair from my face so you can just kiss my forehead or cheek. We rub noses like Eskimos, and I give a soft giggle. I was floored when he asked me if he can just move in and start our life already, together. He is a dream come true. The one I have been searching for, someone who will love me for all  my greatness and weakness.  Never stays angry, always works things out. Wants to make a journey in life with me, not just get a free ride.

I am so excited we are going out again this Tuesday. He  is treating me out for dinner then just a long night in the car with movies, talking, and cuddling. This is all I want. Something just like this.

Song of Feeling:

Something Just Like This- Coldplay & Chainsmokers

I’ve been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Spiderman’s control
And Batman with his fists
And clearly I don’t see myself upon that list

But she said, where d’you wanna go?
How much you wanna risk?
I’m not looking for somebody
With some superhuman gifts
Some superhero
Some fairytale bliss
Just something I can turn to
Somebody I can kiss

I want something just like this
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo
Oh, I want something just like this
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo

Oh, I want something just like this
I want something just like this

I’ve been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
The testaments they told
The moon and its eclipse
And Superman unrolls
A suit before he lifts
But I’m not the kind of person that it fits

She said, where d’you wanna go?
How much you wanna risk?
I’m not looking for somebody
With some superhuman gifts
Some superhero
Some fairytale bliss
Just something I can turn to
Somebody I can miss

I want something just like this
I want something just like this

Oh, I want something just like this
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo
Oh, I want something just like this
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo
Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo

Where d’you wanna go?
How much you wanna risk?
I’m not looking for somebody
With some superhuman gifts
Some superhero
Some fairytale bliss
Just something I can turn to
Somebody I can kiss
I want something just like this

Oh, I want something just like this
Oh, I want something just like this
Oh, I want something just like this
Oh, I want something just like this
