I started today with such great aspirations. None of them happened. I took the day off for bereavement (my husband’s step-grandfather passed and his funeral was today). I still planned to eat my healthy meals and make it to the gym afterwards but that did not happen. The actual service was done before lunch but we took my husband’s great aunt out to lunch afterwards. I could not fight the temptation this time. And although I had a cheat meal this week, I had another one. It was too hard to resist. After lunch, we ran some errands with her before dropping her off and heading home. By time I came home, I was so tired and just wanted to lay around, which I did. So, needless to say, I’m not confident I will reach my 1.4lb goal this week (to lose an even 10lbs in one month).
-Breakfast: I flexed my breakfast with wheat toast, 1 scrambled egg and a slice of low fat Colby jack.
-AM Snack: I forgot to bring it for after the service.
-Lunch: Cheeseburger, fries and half of a chocolate creme pie slice. Oh my gosh was it delicious. But worth it, no.
-PM Snack: I was so full from lunch there was no way I could eat a snack.
-Dinner: still super full.
-Evening snack: regular flavored popcorn (nutrisystem) not as good as the white cheddar flavor but still delicious and great portion size.
Back to business tomorrow.
