  1. That was cute what you said Sprout has Sprouted:) Thanks, we rescued him from our local shelter here in Troutdale Oregon. He was lost in California for a year with no food or water. Then by chance some guy bumped his car into sprout and bought him to the Animal hospital and they check him out and he was starving and very dehydrated and just plain exhausted trying to get by. My husband and i fell in love with the first time we saw him. We have had him now for a year and 7 months.

  2. My fantastic wit knows no bounds: ). I like dogs, but I find myself more fond of cats, it’s just that I’m allergic to them. I have a dog, I’ll post a pic of her sometime.

  3. Hi Sprout, Thanks for your note Re: your dad in the war. My dad died just 2 months before he was to turn 53, he was an overseer for a road building company in NZ, and he was injured out on the road, doing his job. He finally passed away on the operating table under anesthetic, but he knew he was going when he last saw our mother before leaving for theatre! I was 19, the eldest of 8 kids. Thank you so much for your note.I really appreciated it!

  4. Hi. I have no idea how these comment pages work. Thanks for your note left on my, List person journal. Wow, you were 50 and he was 39! I was 38 and he was 25 when our relationship began. He had come out of a 9 yr relationship, 3 years of marriage – and I had come out of a 16yr, 2nd marriage. We actually met through our love of the game of Cricket. He played, and I am a big Cricket fan! I will be 60 in 6 months and he has in January, turned 45. We’ve been together 20 years, married for 18 of them, so we are around the same age, aren’t we?? pity we have a huge Pacific ocean between us. It’s so difficult to find really close friends which we can both share, but then he may not coz he’s kind of quiet …. unless a sport is involved in the conversation! 🙂 Emmi
