Today is the first of the year. Most people don’t like to conform to the “New Year, New You” thing going around. For me this year though I really am getting myself into shape. Not just physically but mentally too. I’ve been in a rut for a while mentally. Though it’s not as bad as it used to be, I can tell by habits I’ve kept that it’s not totally gone yet. It may seem like a lot that I am taking on but if you look at the big picture it will help me.
I started off today with making itineraries for daily routines and cleaning schedules for my little living quarters. I have a lovely little room here and I treat it like it’s nothing. I plan to create my own oasis from the world here in my little room. After I wrote it all up I started to execute it. I started with getting my bathroom cleaned up and spotless. You spend a lot of your day in the bathroom from showering to taking a dump (don’t deny it. We are human we all do it) So it should always be clean and smelling good. It will help you feel good about yourself. In the morning shower you want to feel clean and refreshed for the day. At night you wanna feel relaxed and wash off the dirt from the day. I can now do that with my clean little bathroom. I plan to make it really pretty. It has good basics already but it needs a little something. Not sure what though.
Tomorrow I plan on cleaning my bedroom. It is unorganized chaos. I can never find anything and it is starting to smell funny. I think something got lost and is starting to rot. No fun at all. Def opening the window tomorrow even though it is cold outside. This place needs fresh air.
I have made it part o my nightly routine to write in here every night. So here goes nothing guys. Wish me luck 🙂
