One of my best friends told me he is gay a few weeks ago. We were prepping for a birthday party and he was just like “Oh, right. SleepTight, I’m kinda gay…ish” (he, of course, didn’t say SleepTight) And I looked at him for a second and saw his serious – nervous – expression and knew he meant it. (I then pushed him into my closet and told him to come out of it… I’M SORRY I HAD TO) I was so happy for him!

Whilewe were on our way to the party he asked me whether or not he should tell the rest. I said it was his choice, but that I thought they would all respect his sexual preference. Luckily I have friends who all respect people who are not the same as everyone else. Because why would you have to be the same as everyone else?

The reason I am bringing this up now, is because he just called me. Crying. Someone had told someone who had told someone etc until the whole school knew. In the past FOUR days he had already been pranked SEVERAL TIMES, and that all BECAUSE OF HIS SEXUALITY. I’m sorry, I’m just mind blown. Are you not okay with gays? Okay, so be it. But please don’t make fun of them e.g. because of it – that’s just pathetic.

Anyway. I just discovered that I have a break of 3 hours inbetween 2 tests on school and I’m not allowed to leave the school. So I have to sit on school, for 3 fucking hours, with kids I don’t like. Woo-hoo.

Okay back to the studying. I’m almost done for tomorrow!

  1. I totally agree with you. I just don’t get why people have to be so mean to gays–I mean, they’re not hurting you by being gay, so what is your problem with them??? People should just learn to respect others, regardless of their race, gender, sexual preference, age, religion etc. We’re all humans and that’s really the only thing that matters. I’m glad you’re so supportive of your friend–the people who pranked him, can just go to hell for being so freakingly patheticly mean.
