Today I’m feeling totally and completely energized and hyper. Maybe it’s because today is Thursday (which means that tomorrow is Friday?) Maybe it’s because the one class we had today consisted of us writing our homework in peace? Maybe it’s because I just printed out my homework and I have no homework from my four teachers? Or maybe I’m only feeling this way simply because it’s the evening now and I seem to be feeling strangely energetic lately, on account of my difficulty with falling/staying asleep lately. Whatever the reason, I would love to go on and ramble on about my day beginning with my restless night and ending with me printing out my homework, but unfortunately, I do not have an hour to spend writing anything that long. It’s eight thirty p.m. now and I’ve already been online for like…twenty minutes. So maybe tomorrow.
Today I wrote and posted up my third set of lyrics/saying/book quotes/words on the wall. Today was “You’ll always have a friend in the sun–HitRECord–Move on the Sun”, then “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken”, then “Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it yet–L.M. Montgomery–Anne of Green Gables” and lastly “Strength”. I know this sounds very random but whatever. I’m still on the hunt for beautiful songs and sayings and I especially love searching up beautiful “untranslatable” words from other languages.
Today I watched a few short videos on how to say some simple phrases in German, like good morning and hello and good night, etc. I think it would be really cool if I could actually practice speaking with a person fluent in German. Maybe someday I will–I want to go to both Germany and France when I grow up! One reason I want to go to Germany is because I really, really like the lead singer of Tokio Hotel, Bill Kaulitz. He has a really adorable smile! Again, not saying that I’m obsessed with him or anything–I just think he’s really talented and funny and good-looking, that’s all.
Anyway. Ooh, there are a few things I would like to buy right now. One is a black leather/faux leather backpack with rivets and pins studded all over it. I saw one on this woman’s arm the other day and it was amazing!! The problem is, all the bags I’ve searched up online aren’t as pretty as hers was–their rivets are all square and not round, or they don’t have enough of them, or the bag just doesn’t have any at all. I guess I have to keep looking until I find the perfect bag. Next, I want to buy one or two new jackets and a new parka–preferably dark grey, navy blue, or black, with no frills or lace or stupid words or patterns on them. And last, I want to buy one or two bracelets and necklaces. I saw this really pretty watch/bracelet (okay, I guess watches are pretty much bracelets anyway) thing online that I really like, and a gorgeous mechanical heart (did I mention this one in an earlier journal? I can’t remember) necklace. I normally don’t wear jewelry–only a watch, and maybe a necklace; my ears aren’t pierced and I don’t wear anklets or rings. But I really like wearing bracelets and wearing necklaces, especially in summer.
I guess there’s nothing else to say really. So I’m off to practice a few more phrases in German. Auf Weidersehen my friends–
