Currently, my arms are so sore that I can’t move them. This is all because my class’s last Physical Education Unit is working out in a weight room. Our first assignment include lifting weights on the bench press. Being the small person I am, I couldn’t lift the 45 pound bar. After switching to the 15 pound bar with 10 pound weight on each side, I still couldn’t lift it. Finally, I had to switch to 5 pound weight on both sides. So 25 pounds in total. After doing 4 sets of 12 repetitions, I thought it would be the smartest idea to do bicep curls. I could barely finish those because my arms hurt so much after the bench press. For the next hour, my arms were shaking so much that I couldn’t write. I would say “Never again.” but I know I’m going to have to do it again. I guess I’ll just have to keep practicing until it doesn’t destroy my arms.
