I have accepted the multi-verse theory as true, and therefore I am able to sleep at night.

As I lie in bed, alone and cold, I am comforted by the fact that in at least a few other universes, you are lying next to me. In a few more, I never fell in love with you. In still more, we never even met. I don’t know which ones I prefer. In a few, you love me and I don’t love you back.

I’m sure I could think about the infinite number of universes and possibilities, but knowing that there is at least one in which your arm is draped over me and in which I can feel your breathing on the back of my neck is enough for me.

Somewhere in space and time, you love me…
