you tied the noose around
my neck
you took razors to my wrists an
carved your name into them
and while I was screaming you
breathed life into me
you breathed life into me only to
tear open my rib cage and engrave
sweet nothings into my bones
your tender touches left burnt flesh
behind that spelled out how you ruined me
and when I tried to break free you
held me down with promises that
you never intended to keep
the weight of your poisonous kisses
crushes my lungs until suddenly
I can no longer breathe and I am
begging you
I am begging you because you
have the needle and thread
my veins can only stop
spilling out my sorrows when you
stitch them up
still you tie the noose around my
neck
