My heart bleeds black with the same inky
darkness that creeps across my floors.
The same shadows that cloud my mind and
It pumps the toxic sludge through my veins,
and whispers words to me in the late hours.
My heart bleeds red with the same intensity of
anger that slips in like a bird
quick and almost unnoticeable
until it sings its siren song
and tugs me to float on its crimson waves.
My heart bleeds green with the toxicity that was
left inside it.
The green that colored the jealousy in my eyes
and the repulsion that clouds my judgement
twists my stomach
and twirls me in a whirlwind
dance of fear.
