i’ve got ghosts. and demons. and gremlins. so do you. everyone does…a ghost that follows you, always in the back of your mind trying to take control of your sanity. the hard part is not letting it. sometimes the world seems so dark and cold and lonely that the ghosts appear comforting simply because its there when it feels like no one else is. if you know what i’m talking about, then the world isn’t as lonely as you think. hopefully you can push the ghost back when it rears in the darkness; hopefully a light will force it away. personally, i don’t believe that my ghosts will ever truly be gone, but i do have faith in believing that i can be stronger than they are…and you can be stronger than yours. we can never give up and let the ghosts win….what would be the point of that? to become the ghost of someone who is care about, and loved? i don’t know about you, but i would rather battle my ghost than become one to someone i love. so, again, if you have any understanding about what i’m saying….then you have the strength to overcome your ghost.
if nothing else, strive for inner peace. sometimes if i pretend something is true (an example would be that i’m more confidant than i really am), the pretense becomes real, and the falsehood falls away. so even if you have to pretend you’re stronger than you think you are, you might just make yourself stronger.
Keep believing…and take care.
