Paul works too much. He works 6am to 8pm almost every day, I have no time to talk to him. He’s too exhausted by the time he gets home. Working fourteen hours a day, six days a week is an easy way to kill your own spirit. “Join a union!” I tell him, and its taken him a month to finally convince him to even call our local union. He says he’s interested in the cut in work hours, but he’s nervous he’ll make less money in his paycheck at the end of the week. I’m probably going to have to push him out of the house just to even pay the union a visit. He doesn’t understand unions fully. I’ll write down a list of things they provide, and fix his silly misconception. My husband has no reason not to join a union.
