Grateful today for the ability to be creative and express that creativity in whatever way I choose. I never realized just how much I loved drawing and doing crafts until my sister-in-law came into my life. She is the epitome of creativity. She can take anything boring or dull and make into something exciting and beautiful. Being an etiquette expert and having to work with children and adults alike, she has learned to use her gifts to grab the attention of her audiences in creative ways. I have always loved charcoal sketching and origami and that has been a wonderful outlet for stress.
Besides the relaxing enjoyment of arts and crafts, I am grateful for the musical gifts God has given me. Playing with my brothers at churches, jails, rescue missions, and other places, were just a few of the ways that God used my talents to bless others and I thoroughly enjoyed those periods of my life. And that isn’t over yet, either! For Christmas this year, I will be singing some songs with my brother and sister-in-law at a homeless shelter and/or a jail.. I am grateful for the opportunity and ability to love on people who are less fortunate than I am.
