Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next, in a SMALL bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Then, in a bigger bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until it is creamy. Then, add the eggs, one-by-one, beating well after one is added. Next, gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in Chocolate Chips.

Drop the cookies on a baking sheet, estimated to be about a tablespoon each.

Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes. Take out when golden brown. Cool for at least two minutes before eating
