So this journal is going to be a little different from the rest of my journals. I am going to pick a topic and for this topic I will have five points that I will go over
The topic is:
- Should government impose restrictions on what kinds of foods can be served in school cafeterias?
In my opinion the federal government should not be able to inforce laws on what kids can eat but I feel that the state should be the one to say what the kids eat. If the federal government has the ability to enforce the food on the kids and the kids don’t like it then most schools and states will boycott the food. The kids will come to a point where it is beyond bad that they just won’t eat it. Of course a lot of kids will still eat it but a lot of them will stop. It’s also a good thing for the government to inforce what kids eat because they can make schools put healthier foods in the cafeteria. So there are both good and bad points to the topic.
- Pros and cons of school uniforms.
So a school uniform obviously has its pros and cons. I will start with the cons first. Some major cons would be that you don’t have the freedom to wear what you want. You are being forced to wear what the school tells you and you have no say in it. Now on to some pros, some pros would be that the school can properly identify you and can confirm that you actually go to the school. It’s also a benefit for the student because the uniform can keep you safe. The school will not let people who do not have the uniform in the school so that is a safer way to protect the student from intruders.
- Do children learn better in boys-only and girls-only schools?
Ok, so I actually hate the idea of this and I will explain why. Isn’t this another form of segregation? This is literally gender segregation. You are separating two types of people, Male and female that is. I don’t believe that separating them will benefit anybody at all. Some people would say that it stops the distraction of the other gender. Now I would have to say that that is a personal problem instead of a gender problem. I don’t have much to say about is besides I don’t agree with it and I think it is better if the two genders can work together.
4.) Charter schools
I personally don’t have anything against charter schools. I don’t fully know what it is but with my understanding I believe it is a school with little to no government interference. It is run solely by the community. So if they want to do that I guess go for it. I don’t have anything against it and I don’t know enough to make a rant about it.
- Prayer in schools
Ok, I’m a very devoted Christian so obviously I agree that prayer in school is not a bad thing. Why is it a bad thing? I mean they teach about religion and they teach about evolution so why can’t you pray? I see absolutely nothing wrong with it and I also think bibles should rightfully be able to be in schools. I can go on and on about this but I will leave it up to yall. If yall have any questions about this topic or any of the others listen then leave a comment and I will get back to you.
Ashen says: How does it feel to live in North Carolina?? How does feel to live in a country with 4 seasons? Just curious… because unfortunately I’m living in a country with only 2 seasons…
Well ashen I personally hate North Carolina. There is nothing bad with the state itself because the beaches and mountains are absolutely beautiful. I just hate the location I live because the people are rude and the schools and curriculum suck. I love the country I live in. It is amazing. Where exactly do you live? I’m guessing the United Kingdom. I plan on moving out of the country some time in my life and go to South Africa or Kenya Africa for missionary. And yes, all of the photos that you will see are mine. A lot of them are taken when I travel or just simply at home.
