It’s 10:02 AM. I have been at work for 1 hour. I have done very little work. I made a spreadsheet. I discussed delivery issues with my boss for all of 3 minutes. I’ve read journals for the other 55 minutes. My eyes are getting a little heavy. I ran a really good 3 miles this morning. I think I’ll have a coffee now. I’m a little chilled as well as tired. It’s now 11:08.  I had my coffee. I emailed a friend I had not spoken to in while. Checked to see if L had emailed me. (Why?? To what end? to distract me more? Probably).  I’ll see if I can make the timer thing work for me today: work for a specific amount of time, take a short break, back to work. Lather, rinse, repeat…..
