It’s the Final Countdowwwnnn! Do da doo doooo! Do da do do doooo!

Let me give you a bit of background on myself. I’m 32, I’m a Twin, I’m an Analyst and most importantly, I am the mother of three amazing children; ages 7, 3, and 20 months.

Now, you may have to be an 80’s baby to get my drift here…. If not, let me give you a quick rundown. It’s an 80’s classic rock song that has a kind of “Preparing for War” vibe. This pretty much sums up how I’m feeling at the moment. I’m on the front line, and it’s time to figure out what I’m really made of. I have exactly 8 full days before I become a Single Mother and I’m…afraid.

  1. being a single parent is tough, but you can do it. My mom did it for awhile. 🙂 I even had to help raise my siblings after she left my dad. But it was or the best.

  2. Thank you Lollie! I think that is one of my biggest fears…asking my oldest to help with little tasks for my two younger daughters. I mean, it’s not his job and he had nothing to do with my husband and mine’s separation. Do you mind if I ask….were there ever any feelings of resentment for having to help raise your siblings…?
