Gap year

So it’s currently 8:30 in the morning and I’m running on zero sleep. I don’t know why I didn’t go to bed but I’ve just been thinking a lot and I’ve searched a lot of things and got a lot of info on certain things. I know I’m really early and I really shouldn’t say that I’m going to do these things but I’m going to tell yall my intentions.

Most of yall know that missionary is going to be my career pathway in life. Some of yall also know that I’m planning on going to Africa on my summer of junior year. It will be a two week trip across the world in Kenya which is located in South Africa. That trip will cost about. I can’t currently plan for the trip to Africa because the dates have not been posted but I will get the dates by the end of this upcoming summer. I will be doing loads of fundraisers and I will try to get as many sponsors as I can to support me as I prepare for this trip.

As soon as I get back from Africa I will start getting the dates for the Gap trip. If yall do not know, the Gap trip is for 18-21 year olds and you travel for nine months to three different continents. If any of yall know about missionary then yall might be familiar with the name ‘the world race’. Yea, I thought that name might ring a bell. For the people that don’t know, the world race is a very intense eleven month mission’s trip to eleven different continents throughout the world. You have got to be 21-35 years old. The gap trip is the beginner’s version of the world race. It is still very intense but it is two months less than the world race. The world race is $15,000 so I would imagine that the gap trip is going to be about $10,000.

I know it is very early to say that I am going on the gap trip but I do have intentions on doing the world race one day while I’m in my 20’s. All I can really do right now is pray my heart out and all I ask from yall is that you pray for me also. Just pray that God leads me into the right direction and leads me to the correct locations within my future missionary work.

So my internet is currently down because the guy that came out to give us better internet only screwed it all up. I can’t explain it all but all I know now is I don’t have Wi-Fi so I’m going to have to use my hotspot to upload this. It kind of sucks because I get bad service in my bedroom; so I usually stick to my Wi-Fi but I can’t now.

Okay so it is currently Tuesday and I just now got my internet back. I tried to upload the previous blogs but it just wouldn’t work and I can’t use all the data. There really isn’t much to say about today. I have been having a great day today and yesterday wasn’t all that bad either. Tomorrow we will be introduced to the possible new youth leader. We have been doing a lot of very deep searching over the past three years and we found a guy. The leaders of our church have been interviewing him for a few months now. I seriously hope I like him and I hope he is a good teacher because we have all been praying for this for a very long time so this means a lot to people.

Well, that is about it for today (and the past two days). I will keep yall updated as I continue with my journey through life.
