Wk 3: Day 17 Sunday

This morning I have decided to attempt a meditation session without the guidance due to my success from last week. I put on a meditation soundtrack that I found from google and began my session of relaxation. It was a lot harder without the guidance I had to think up my own guidance of images and techniques of relaxation which controlled much more concentration than usual. My mind did drift off quite a few times because I didn’t have anyone speaking in the background and after about 10 minutes I ended the session with a feeling of success. Although it was much harder to achieve a good meditation session without guidance, I do feel like I am on my way to clearing my head and being able to sit still for longer periods of time and relax my mind and body from my daily stresses.
