I would have wrote my entry earlier, but I got a little preoccupied by the Japanese language.
I’ve had a sudden urge to start learning it again. I know it’s a very difficult language that takes a long time to learn and that you will never fully speak it fluently, but it sounds just so pleasing to my ears and satisfying to pronounce.
Other than Spanish, which I want to learn for travel reasons and because many people in Canada also speak Spanish, so it’s beneficial for a job, I want to learn Japanese, because of the way it sounds, I’d like to visit Japan one day, I want a goal to work towards, I want to be multilangual and what started this, but isn’t primary, I want to watch anime without subtitles.
Speaking about anime, turns out the show I used to watch as a kid called “Les Mystérieuses Cités d’Or” or “The Mysterious Gold Cities” is a French-Japanese collaboration, so I can definitely see some anime movements and styles in there.
Back to languages, I feel like I’d be a little easier for me, because of the way words are drawn and not written. Being a visual person interested in art, visual representation such as diagrams have always been easy for me to replicate. For example, in psychics we had to draw the reflection of the rays of light, which I would remember and replicate by looking at whichever diagram only once. Being like this could give me a good advantage for the language, but the problem is, having a Japanese speaker to talk to is recommended and almost needed, but I don’t have one. I guess you can find someone online, but it would most likely be someone who lives in Japan and with the time zones, I’d be difficult to Skype call.
But now related to what I did today, I worked on some English and art homework this morning, because I had a sudden want to be productive, then I played Minecraft, Dark Souls and Rocket League for the rest of the day.
That’s all for today.
