Day 128 – Mom went to hospital again

Sunday, July 3rd 2016

Today was an intended day for relaxing. It started out by me waking up earlier to beat my bad habit of waking up late, until I realised when there was 20~ minutes left that there was church. I ended up not going and doing a bible study of Ephesians 4: 17-32, 5: 1-33 and 6 : 1-20. I saw in those verses a few things that my dad would apply to my brother and I, such as “Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry” (4: 26), where my dad would never let an argument between family members be left for the next day. He would never let us sleep until the argument was resolved. Luckily, my brother and I don’t fight that much anymore. We do have small arguments, but we’re more mature about it. Our arguments when we were children and now have always been miscommunication errors.

Afterwards, I played a lot of video games, ate with my family, played more video games and watched YouTube (didn’t want to do some Japanese or practice art, because I was too tired) and my mom accidentally peeled a lot of skin off of her heel by hitting it on the brick while going down the stairs in the backyard outside. My dad quickly put bandages on it and she felt extremely faint. He brought her to the hospital and I took charge of cleaning the blood off of the floor and cooking the hamburgers. I overcooked them probably (but that’s not too bad with this meat, cause better overcooked then undercooked) and I was thinking “Gordon Ramsay would not be happy with this” (I’m still watching his videos, help me >-< usually watching excessive amounts of one type of video doesn’t last this long). My brother and I did the dishes afterwards and I played some more video games and watched some more YouTube. My mom returned and she told us that she’ll be fine, just have to make sure there is no infections.

So yeah. Thought it was gonna be a boring, video game day, but things took a turn.

That’s all for today.
