My Thoughts Scattered

My thoughts scattered

across the plateau

the night descends

like a guillotine

the dream is severed

in the twilight’s fading resonance

where am I

poised above

the sonic streams of metropolis

there is no beautiful truth

to this commercialized mirage

all seems electric and marble

stone eyes

cascade their gaze of florescence

stolen stars and moons

drip their mercury

upon the obelisk

I have seen

the sea washed medallion

where tidal songs

inscribe the ether with verses

and astral light

radiates like an ascended jewel

like a prism of curvatures
