You know, I don’t know what made me think of this. It was probably my new laptop the general laptop’s life expectancy. I was thinking about their processors speed, etc.
Our lives are made up of moments which are indexed in our minds. We live in and out moments, then remember them; I believe it’s all based on this heavenly calculus. But our minds don’t think like a computer. We don’t think like the internet. Our computers are modeled after our experience, because they are made by us. Our computers think like a very limited version of us. It just made me think that it’s not the other way around–we don’t think like computers. Our lives weren’t created to be lived out as processor-efficient entities. We are people. We are sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, grandfathers, grandmothers, cousins, uncles and aunts. We live in streams not bytes. –the thought is over–
