On our way to Kentucky.
We already drove a good 11 hours and traversed into the U.S—I think we’re in Ohio.
There isn’t much to talk about since I basically listened to music and looked out the window, except for one time where I was supposedly asleep, but I was still aware of what everyone was saying and my dream was not a visual representation, but my thoughts? As in, I’d be thinking about a story in my head as I’m looking out the window as I usually do, but without control and random.
The food was good and the prices here are so much lower than in Canada. I don’t understand why people complain about gas prices—come to Canada and then try complaining when going back. I feel like moving to the U.S for so many reasons related to the economy, but then again Canada seems like a safer place to me, but Ottawa is boring—there’s nothing to do.
My dad and I were talking about this place I’d go to every birthday called Midway. It had go karts, mini golf, an arcade, jungle gym, rock glimbing and bumper cars. It was the most amazing and fun place. One day they just closed, probably because they weren’t making enough money. It was after I received a shirt with the logo on it that would have got me 20%-30% of next time I go if I wore it. On one of my birthdays I went to the newly opened one and it was so small and disappointing. I really miss that place.
Anyway, the food here seems to be good so far. The food sizes are pretty big—ordered a small smoothie and it was medium back in Canada, but I was kinda expecting that.
Now for some more car fun.
That’s all for today.
