Random Thoughts

Hi everyone.  I like to type in large letters because I have a slight visual impairment that glasses won’t help.  I am missing two of my friends who haven’t written on here lately, as far as I can tell:  Hoosier53 and Therealgoddessiana.  I hope everything is allright with you both.  I’ve been busy taking my hubby to doctors and dentists.  We are going to get him healthier.  I hope.  I love him so much.  46 years! Friday is his birthday — – 68 years old.  Wow.  He is so sweet and good to me. We laugh a lot and tease each other and watch TV together.  And get peach milkshakes with whipped cream and a cherry on top!  Life is so good.  So different from my early years.  I just want to thank God with all my heart for these happy times with my family.  I know happiness does not last forever, but love does.  I also know that when hard times come, Jesus will walk me through it, right by my side.  I’ll make it.  My mother is 92 with skin cancer but she still drives, cooks, visits the nursing home; and she says I am an angel to her.  It was not that way when I was little.  God has restored the “years the locust has eaten.”  Just like He said He would.  God is so good.  And He is fully trustworthy.  A book I wish you would all read is The Beautiful Truth by Lynn Roberson.  It’s available on amazon or through Barnes and Noble.  It’s not very long, but it is really special.  Well, I’m way past bedtime, so goodnight!  Hugs!

  1. Reading your words made me smile. I loved that you and your husband laugh and tease one another. That is so sweet. You are so very lucky to have a partner in life that is truly in love with you and you with him. God has blessed you with a life partner. I will keep him in my prayers and pray that his health gets better. Your husband and my oldest brother are the same age. My brother will be 68 in Oct.
That peach milkshake sounds soooooo good. Now I’m hungry.

  2. Thank you for your kind works about my bathroom mess. These men are both so very nice and kind and I don’t want to lash out and tell them that I don’t like their work. I didn’t have a problem with a different contractor years ago when he did a bad job and kept lying to me. I ended up firing him and I didn’t care what he thought but these men haven’t been mean, rude nor have they lied to me.
I appreciate your kindness. Your words made me feel better. I think I will go out on the patio today while they work so I don’t have to breathe in those paint fumes.
