One thing I Know

I have been reading in John chapter 9.  It is awesome.  This is where Jesus heals the man born blind and the Pharisees just about have a cow.  (smile)  They interrogate him and his parents.  They say, “Don’t you know this man (Jesus) is a sinner?”  And the formerly blind man says, “Whether or not he is a sinner, I don’t know.  One thing I know.  I was blind and now I see.” This really grabbed me, and I wrote about it in my book, The Beautiful Truth (available on by Lynn Roberson (if anyone would like to read it.)  The Lord seemed to speak to me and say “What one thing do you know?  One is enough to start with.”  I realized that if I had to narrow my whole theology down to one thing, it would be that GOD IS GOOD.  I know it down to my toes.  That is why I trust Him, even though there is much I don’t understand in the Bible and in Life.  And Jesus is one with God, so I can also say JESUS IS GOOD.  I know it, more than I know anything else.  You might like to ask yourself what one thing you know?  “I was blind and now I see.”  That goes for all of us, doesn’t it?  Praise and thanks be to Our Father In Heaven.  Love to all of you.

  1. Thank you, Pink Butterfly! I really believe you will love the book. It’s not too long, and relaxing to read. It’s inspirational (I also have two novels). Yes, I’ve been writing since I was 10 years old — a lot of years!!! (smile)

  2. This was a very beautiful entry, and this story is familiar to me, I must have read it in secondary school when I did GCSE religious studies 🙂 That’s super brilliant that you’ve written a book! 🙂 I’ve been writing since I was quite young too! (seven years old.) I hope you are well as can be.
