Yoga & Lower Back Issues

So i have recently incorporated yoga into my fitness routine. I can’t say i remember ever doing it before this. But wow is it difficult!! Much harder than i first thought it would be and I’m only on a beginner level. Saying this i think its brilliant and intend to stick to it permanently.

Does anybody else here do yoga? Any insight or advice would be great! Also I’m currently using a free app called ‘Down Dog’ to do my sessions. I’m not really keen on paying for one at this stage, does anybody else use an app or YouTube videos or anything really? I would love to hear from you 🙂

I’m hoping in the long run it will help me strengthen my core muscles. I have a lower back problem, some sort of abnormality in the muscle or disk that i discovered from having an MRI scan. I didn’t dwell too much on this as I’m pretty young and with some determination hope to strengthen the muscles naturally. I do have episodes of severe pain from time to time but nothing i can’t live with thankfully.

Does anybody else have to manage lower back pain with exercise? Any advice appreciated.
