As the days get colder and the days become shorter, reflection betters my mind. I save my personal entries for the “Sunday Readers” but it never hurts to stir the pot up for a bit.
It’s been a year since the decision of separating and with the paperwork finally finished, we are left to make our way to happiness. She’s my housemate as well as the mom to my awesome mini clone. I see her chatting it up, as normal of course, with guys and I envy her. It’s crazy….I really envy her. It’s the attention, I think, that I’d like to have for myself and give back in return.
Enough with the “Pity me”, right? I do feel better letting it out. I’m going to ask you some questions so I can better know you!
Please, if you feel uncomfortable letting me know who the “Real” you is, just answer them in your head. 🙂
As a kid, what did you want to grow up to be? I wanted to be a Marine Biologist. I love being in the ocean and just stare at marine life all day.
What is your favorite food(s)? I love to cook and eat just about anything. My favorites though (ahem): Anything with Blueberries, I have yet to find a pie I don’t like, toast with butter and jam, and fresh fruit.
What was the coolest thing you ever did? Besides being a parent to my offspring, all sorts of things. I play my ukulele for free coffee at cafes. I surf when I can. But the best has to be recovering from my damage from PTSD.
Where will you be going in life? That’s always been a simple one. It has caused me to get into trouble, meeting with some very interesting people, and memories I never thought I’d ever have. That would be, where the wind takes me.
Times like these, I wish I was a full-time writer so I never have to worry about traffic or getting to work on time. But, this is the path that I’m on so far.
Thank you for taking the time to help me stay grounded and letting some fun things out about myself I haven’t thought of in awhile. I hope you have a great day!!!!
