 I woke up feeling rested. I hit the 21st day of my morning ritual. I feel some kind of accomplishment, which I have not felt in a while. Being positive is never easy for me. I am so skeptical and have a tendency to see a negative side of everything. It is easy the way for me. But I know I am not happy being this way. Everything has both sides good and bad.  I need to practice to see the other side even a little part of my day. I have not seen much difference in me but this ritual has shown me things from a different side. I plan on continuing for a while to see if it would make some change in me.

My morning ritual Day 21

1) Write down 3 acts of gratitude

I am grateful that I got a 9 hours sleep. I am grateful for the sunny beautiful day so I can enjoy being outside. I am grateful to the stuff for the situation where I don’t have to work.

2)Write down one positive experience that occurred the past 24 hours as detail as possible.

I appreciate that the time I had in downtown with my husband. It was not so crowded. I got to eat some junk food that I treat myself occasionally.

3)Exercise for 15 minutes or more     I did pirates for 30 minutes

4)Meditation                                           I did 5 minutes in the train

5)Write a letter to someone to express gratitude 

Dear, my favorite bus driver,

You are so cheerful and professional. You make the long ride so pleasant. I feel lucky when I get on your bus. Thank you so much.
