Day 264 – Good luck U.S

Wednesday, November 9th 2016

Welp. Trump won. Seriously, for any Americans out here, you were in trouble either way so… I welcome my American friends to Canada, we have an attractive prime minister, unlike your president. Good luck, by the way.

Today was good as usual. Started off with programming and I’ve been trying to make my nav hover correctly. Then I had cooking class and we made our presentation and learned a bit about the basics of a French dining table, such as the plates and utensils.

At lunch I sat with Kohai and we went over to technology class, where we filmed our video for Adobe After Effects,; we needed to do a raindrop effect. As I was walking in the video though, I needed to look depressed, so I nearly yelled “I hate life” to get into character in a way, and since we were at the front of the school, our math teacher from last year that Kohai and I joke about by saying “his era of math”, jogged by. I don’t think he heard, luckily. The effect though looked of the raindrops looked nice. The sky was a bit clear, so I made the rain less strong. It’s fun since I like photography so I spent 10mins just straightening the camera.

I then had math and we did normal, math things. When I got home I spent my time editing the staff’s skins for Christmas/Holidays. I made the owners the same Christmas hats with scarves and gloves in their own colours, I made the Co-Owner a polar bear onesie, I made a moderator Jack Frost and a Jr Moderator a Reindeer with Christmas lights. I’m gonna make myself a Christmas elf since I’m already an elf, one a gingerbread cookie and the other just have a Christmas sweater and hat.

I also played a little of Batman TellTale and I’m going to bed early since tomorrow is the ceremony for an average of 80%+ last year, so I have to dress up a bit more.

That’s all for today.

  1. Believe me, many of us Americans are absolutely terrified at what a Trump presidency could mean for not only our country, but the entire world. So how’s the healthcare system in Canada?? 🙂

  2. Thank you for your welcome to Canada. I think the site for Canadian immigration crashed because of all the panicking Americans who were looking to change their nationality. Also, my GSA leader researched how to become an Irish citizen. We’re all panicking in America, anyway, and I can’t imagine this person actually BEING THE PRESIDENT for FOUR ENTIRE YEARS. Geez.
