I woke up feeling energized again. It was only 4am so I forced myself to go back to sleep a bit more. It seems like my new meds are working so well. I like this maniac feeling. Hope it will continue like this. When I started this morning ritual, I hated it and I was skeptical.I didn’t know how to show my gratitude. I felt stupid . But I kept on doing. I am so glad that I have been sticking with it. Now expressing gratitude is becoming more comfortable for me.
My morning ritual Day 32
1) Write down 3 acts of gratitude
I am grateful that I am having a lot of energy .I am grateful for being at the park doing something I love. I am grateful that I have a lot of time to read today.
2)Write down one positive experience that occurred the past 24 hours as detail as possible.
I just tried pastel painting for the first time in my life. I sure need more practice but the positive part is, I really enjoyed it. I suck at it though.. but I want to be better at it. It is nice to do something challenging.It has been a while since I felt this way.
3)Exercise for 15 minutes or more 35 minutes 5.4km run
4)Meditation I did 10 minutes with my eyes closed in the bed.
5)Write a letter to someone to express gratitude
Dear Mihoko,Thank you for accepting my apologies yesterday. I am so happy that you appreciated me reaching out to you. I thought I would lose you completely in my life. I cannot wait to have you in my life again. Thank you so much!
How my day is going
5:30wake up/ Meditation 10 minutes
6:30 drink soy latte and apple yogurt
7:00 run 5.4 km for 35 minutes
8:00 took a long bath
9:30 Breakfast/ Rice, daikon miso soup, egg and spinach,tofu
11-13:00 Being in the park writing,painting, relaxing.
13:30 Lunch / meet pie
16:00 a few pieces of chocolate / Watched a movie
19:00 Dinner/ White fish, salad, mashrooms and beans
Today is another relaxing day filled with the activities I enjoyed. I am so luncky that I can use my time for what I want to do. I got to see a movie today so one more movie to go for this month!
