I just love this time of the day.. before the sun rising. It is still dark and quiet. It looks as if the whole world would be still sleeping but me. I feel special … like everything I see and hear would be mine.. I am writing this as listening to classical music. For me, this is one of the happiest moment.
Since I started this journal and my morning ritual, I have noticed small happiness more. I can see how blind I was. I am still in the process but I know I am heading to the right direction. I just want to be more positive..
My morning ritual Day 38
1) Write down 3 acts of gratitude
I am grateful that I can notice a lot of things more. I am grateful that my new medication has been so helpful. I am grateful that I have not binged on junk food.
2) Write one positive experice within 24 hours. Nothing special but I was at the park with my husband surrounded by colored trees eating some sweet and chatting yesterday . That kind of thing makes me realized and feel how fortunate I am. I don’t need anything special to be happy.
3)Exercise for 15 minutes or more 30 minutes yoga
4) Meditation 15 minutes with my eyes closed
5)Write a letter to someone to express gratitude
Dear, Haruki Murakami I really enjoy your books. I never liked reading before. Reading books is one of the things I learn later in my life and I cannot believe what I was missing. I will be reading a lot for the rest of my life to make it up for it. I appreciate your work. Thank you.
6)The practice of becoming a generous person. I washed my husband’s dirty mug that was left on the counter. I would usually tell him to do it or ignore it. I am sure he wont even notice me doing it… which I would rather he didn’t. Also I gave him my last piece of pizza since he looked still hungry. haha

5:00wake up/ drink soy latte writing this journal
7:00 did 30 minutes yoga
8:30 Breakfast/ rice, salmon with vegies, egg , miso soup and pinapples
10:00 Left for downtown to meet up with my husband
12:30 Lunch/ Pizza
16:00 came back and took a bath
17:30 Dinner/ egg soup, chicken salad, Hijiki( sea weed) pear
I have not been able to sleep well for the past week or so. I will try to get in bed ASAP so I can get my beaty sleep!!
