Day 279 – Danielle Plaisted (important)

PLEASE READ BOTTOM

Today was much better than yesterday. I started off the day still stressed and feeling just, sad, until I got to technology class, studied some math with Kohai, went to math class, did my test and couldn’t figure out the answer to the last question, but I’m sure I wasn’t the only one since the time went into lunch time and people were still working on the test, then I ate with my close friends and when I arrived to programming, I just felt a wave of relief. The day became a lot better from then on. I went to my desk, dropped some money in the process, worked on my website and finally managed to make the chat work! I asked some friends of mine from the U.S to test it with me and it works! I just have to fix a few things, as in sending speed, CSS, making it say when someone leaves the chat and fix the chat history, since anyone can go into it and see the chat from when it begun. I showed it to my teacher and he said that both my brother and I are talented in computer work. He even asked if programming is a career I’m going to follow, which I’m not, but perhaps if I need to. He was happy with it and encouraged me to keep working on things of the sort, so now I’m really happy.

I then had cooking class and the teacher wasn’t showing up, but we had a classmate inside. She didn’t open the door until the bell rang, and a lot of people were giving her a hard time, when she was told by our teacher to not open the door until the bell rings. She prevented other students from taking food from the shelves, because it could be food to cook later, and it reminded me of when I was younger. I feel bad for her, since I understand completely as to why she did those things, but people are just calling her annoying simply cause she was following the teacher’s orders. At least when the students talked to the teacher about it, the teacher defended her by saying she did order her to keep the door closed until the bell rang.

When I got home, I talked to my dad a little bit about our dog and cat, then went upstairs to play on my phone a bit, since my computer is broken still, then went downstairs to watch more YouTube and then Supernatural.

I then began speaking with staff chat, which one of the owners is drunk, so it was funny to read her texts. I then spoke to Megg Gawat, which we discussed about my website and recommended me to add my animation work into it.

Sorry, I’m gonna have to cut my entry here. Megg found someone on this website (Goodnight journal) that wrote what seems to be a very depressing and saddening letter. Her name is Danielle Plaisted. We don’t know how she is right now and we are worrying for her. Please, send your prayers and try and reach your hand out to her. Danielle, if you’re reading this, don’t do anything drastic as Megg said. If you ever need to speak to anyone, message me on bystanderobservant@gmail.com. I’ll also contact you on Facebook.

I hope you’re okay.

EDIT : Some friends and I contacted the police and she answered me. She’s okay. Thanks if you took action.

That’s all for today.

  1. “When I got back home, I turned on my computer to do some more studying. I opened up Skype and was surprised that Observant Bystander actually sent me a message from this morning, around 9 AM. I thought she was at school during that time, and I didn’t have anyone else to talk to because my co-workers were out too, so I didn’t even think about turning skype on all day.”

Excerpt from my journal entry today. I’m glad Danielle is safe. Thank you for reaching out.
