December 4th / A little sleep with having a lot of motivation

I have been having a sleeping problem for quite some times. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I am usually wide awake with a lot of energy. I try to stay in bed until 4am by reading or watching TV  though. A month ago, I would need 8 hours sleep every day , having no motivation. I am now totally opposite. I would like to sleep a bit better but I don’t want to go back the way I used to…

Here is todays my morning ritual

My morning ritual Day 48

1) Write down 3 acts of gratitude

I am grateful that I am more and more interested in stuff around me. I am grateful to my friend Haru-chan for asking me to have lunch yesterday. I am grateful that I am persistent to take care of my body.

2) Write one positive experice within 24 hours. I had even extra energy yesterday. Once I started to run, I felt like I could keep going forever. I had decided to try to finish one of my weekly goals of runniing for an hour. It was not easy especially mentally. I was ok physically but I wanted to quit earlier. When I fisnished, I was so glad that I could stick with it. I felt such a great accomplishment. I can’t remember the last time I ran that long. 🙂

3)Exercise for 15 minutes  I did 30 minutes yoga

4) Meditation   I did 6 minutes with audio

5)Write a letter to someone to express gratitude

Thank you for the email asking me how I was doing. We rarely see each other recently but I would love to correspond once in a while to catch up. Hope everything is ok with you.

6)Do one small thing for generosity .  I fed birds at the park. 🙂

How my day is going

4:00 Got up/ Soy latte

7:00 yoga

8:00 Breakfast/ rice, tofu miso soup, egg

9:00 teach

10:00 power nap

12:00 Lunch/baked pasta

13:00 went shopping and walked in the shrine

16:00 took a long bath

18:00 dinner/ Salmon, vegies , meat and fruits
