December 18th / Hit the 60th

I have been doing this morning ritual for 2 months. When I started, I felt ridiculous and didn’t believe it would do any good to me. I am so glad that I stuck with it. It took almost a month to start to see some changes in me. Now I cannot imagine not doing this the first thing in the morning. 🙂

My morning ritual Day 61

1) Write down 3 acts of gratitude

I am grateful that I have a lot of plans to do stuff this month. I am grateful that I have finished all the shopping. I am grateful that I have wonderful students to teach.

2) Write one positive experice within 24 hours. I don’t sleep more than 4 hours straight. Instead, I take a power nap to get my energy up during the day. I like the nap. I totally surrender the feeling and lose my conscious and fall into a deep sleep… I wake up in 30 minutes without an alarm clock.🙂 Yesterday’s nap was exactly like that.. After waking up, I felt so rested. 🙂

3)Exercise for 15 minutes  I ran 3 miles

4) Meditation   I did 12 minutes meditation with audio

5)Write a letter to someone to express gratitude

Thank you so much for taking lessons from me for such a long time. We have known each other almost 5 years! You are my important student as well as my friend. We have shared so many stories. I love teaching and talking with you. Hope we will have this great relationship for a long time. Thank you for choosing me as your teacher. 🙂

6)Do one small thing for generosity  I clicked on animal donation website 3 times 🙂

How is my day going

4:30 Got up/ Soy latte

6:30 pre-workout snack/ mango and yogurt

7:30 Ran 3 miles

8:30 Breakfast/ Rice, miso soup, vegies , sausage and egg

9-10:3o teach

11:00 took a power nap

13:30 had a lunch at tempura restaurant

15:00 went to a classical music concert

19:00 Dinner/ Korean soup and apples
