Day 295 – Christmas and Japan

Sunday, December 18th 2016

Today was a normal one, but it was a little more productive.

I woke up late and found out my parents didn’t bother waking me up for church, but they went anyway. I decided to skip my Bible study and only make a good, meaningful prayer (but I forgot to do that, sorry), since I needed to work on Christmas gifts. I started making little strips that I will add to the chocolate I’m giving out to people. They all say Merry Christmas in French except one since she doesn’t celebrate Christmas, but she really liked it when I gave her a gift at Christmastime in the past and said that it made her day, and they all have different little drawings on them, such as the one for my teacher has a Death Star with some TIE Fighters around it. I also worked on Kohai’s Christmas gift.

I then moderated on the server and worked on my super secret project. I have to hurry up with it since I’m running out of time. I’m halfway done.

I then played Dead by Daylight with staff for a bit before working on my project some more and going to eat. After that I worked on a tad of math work, which was mostly trying to remember some equations by heart. I did a little bit of the homework I couldn’t understand, but I really couldn’t be bothered with it/had trouble figuring it out. I decided that if my teacher was to check, that I’d just say I had trouble. I’m sure she’ll understand.

I then went back to work on the project some more and went to watch Supernatural with my mom and dad. After that I watched some videos of foreigner’s experiences in Japan. Apparently Japanese are very kind and polite, but it’s superficial politeness. They are hard to open up and won’t say things directly, as well as they can be shy, but some say they’re really nice to the point that one put their umbrella over them while walking since they didn’t have one, or another the vending machine didn’t give the item and they couldn’t get the money back, so someone paid for them. I still want to visit Japan. I don’t mind if the people are hard to talk to, I’m shy and quiet, so sometimes just politeness is good with me.

To Megg : Don’t really have anything to tell you. I’m gonna read your today’s entry tomorrow, so hope you had a good day!

That’s all for today.

  1. It looks like you have a lot of things you want to get done before Christmas. I would create a list of them, and then work on them one at a time, putting in all focus on that one item until its complete. It really looks like you have a lot of things to do, and then you’re on vacation for a while, so I’m trying to help you complete them 😛
