But I’m not dead inside either.

This book.

I read. Some would I read a lot. Some would say I read some. But I read. Often times I read books that are entertaining and I enjoy them. Sometimes I read books that are painful to get through and a waste of effort. But every so often I read a book that is just too amazing and such a great time that I love it and have to share.

I’m only 150 pages in, not even halfway so I don’t know how this is going to end and I may have a different opinion at the end. But I was 40 pages in and in love with this book. There have been more quotes than I can count that have stuck with me and I’ve said I need to remember this.

“Everyone’s got someplace to be. Finding God is not on the schedule.”

“How can you trust something that can end as suddenly as it begins?”

“Are we in a tragedy?” “Of course. Isn’t that what life is? We all die at the end.”

“But I’m not dead inside either.”

“The thing about falling is you don’t have any control on your way down.”

“Some people exist in your life to make it better. Some people exist to make it worse.”

I’m likely going to come back and add more quotes before the end of this book. I have to keep reading.

If you’re curious, “The Sun is also a Star” by Nicola Yoon. It’s vibes of 500 Days of Summer. It’s probably not everyone’s cup of tea. I can see the reviews now people rolling their eyes wondering why they wasted their time. But call me a sap I’m loving this one and I’m not dead inside either 😉
