I did it! I made it through Day 1 of my 30 Days to True Health. It wasn’t all easy. I enjoyed my Truplenish breakfast shake, so chocolatey; but soon suffered some nausea after I drank my first Trupure drink. Cheryl said it’s common at the beginning, so I laid down for a quick rest and it quickly subsided.
I spent my day relaxing with my family and watching movies, so it was not too difficult to avoid food….but the cravings were still there. Every food in the kitchen was screaming at me to eat…..I seriously thought I heard an English Muffin whistle to me. When the roast beef was being served…I had a moment of “why can’t I have this?”….but I refused to give in. I ate my fresh veggies, vegetable cabbage soup, steamed rutabaga and a big salad tossed with balsamic vinegar and freshly toasted almond slivers (what a yummy addition to the salad).
I’m enjoying herbal tea now for my evening, and I still have one Trupure drink for tonight (they’re really yummy by the way) and then my first Cleanse Day is complete!
Yay me for staying strong.
