TODAY’S COMMENTS AND VIEWS

Good Morning to all who share in this Journal.

This is the start of a brand new day.  Welcome this day for all the freshness, hope, resolution and any other thing that it brings.

I want to give a special thank you for all of you that have left me comments.  I appreciate your input.  Most of your comments have been positive.  To any who do not feel positive, give it some time, I might change your mind.

Don’t expect some city slicker approach in my views.  I’m an old farm boy and my primary education is through the school of hard knocks.  I have been fortunate enough to have a wealth of experience and draw on that experience in my views.

My life experience has been in fields that deal with the public.  As a result, I have been able to deal with many people over my life as well as multiple cultures.  I don’t see rich or poor, young or old, black, white, brown, yellow or any other color.  My view is that we are all one people.  Some have more advantage than others.  However, we all have one thing in common — We have problems.  Often we do not or cannot get the help we need.  Sometimes all it takes is a different perspective to help us through a situation.  As I stated earlier, I am not a professional medical person or any other type of overpaid professional.

In college, I was seeing a girl that asked me why I only observed life and never participated in it.  That question dug deep as I had not realized that was what I was doing.  In looking back upon that time I can see that what she observed and shared with me was absolutely correct.  I appreciate that she had the insight to notice this and the courage to bring it to my attention.

Ever since that experience, I have tried to change my approach and have devoted myself to try to assist others.  At that time I was limited to those that I happened to come across on my daily activities.  Now, with the internet and journals like this one and other social media, the exposure to people is much greater.

I don’t claim to be all knowing and might misunderstand something you are saying.  If that his the case let me express my apologies now.

I look at each day as a new beginning.  The problems of yesterday have to restart to be an issue.
