January 10th / Feeling tired after eating

I have been having a problem.. I feel like I cannot do anything after eating recently. Most of the time I end up taking a nap. I didn’t feel that way before… I have heard that if I eat a lot of carb, it makes me feel that way. I eat pretty balanced meal.. very strange.. 🙁

My morning ritual day 83

1) Write down 3 acts of gratitude

I am grateful that I had a great hike and picnic yesterday. I am grateful that the subway wasn’t crowded . I am grateful for my self-discipline.

2) Write one positive experice within 24 hours. I really enjoyed the hike yesterday. It was just perfect. The weather was so nice and wasnt crowded. It was so quiet and pleaceful walking in the wood.. All I heard was the birds.. We spread a picnic mat in front of the lake and had a picnic. It was sooo nice to be in the nature..🙂

3)Exercise for 15 minutes         Did 30 minutes kickboxing and 15 minutes yoga

4) Meditation                               I did 9 minutes meditation with audio

5)Write a letter to someone or something to express gratitude    

Dear,Elisabeth       I use your meditation program daily. It makes meditation easy and pleasant. Becuase of you, I can keep up with my practice every day. Thank you so much!! 🙂

6)Do one small thing for generosity    did our laundry

How is my day going so far

4:00 Got up/ Soy latte

6:30 Preworkout snack/ banana

7:00 kickboxing

8:30 Breakfast/rice, miso soup, egg and vegies, fish

9:00 teach

10:30 left for downtown

12:00 Lunch at an Italian buffet

14:30 watched a movie

This day sounds so lovely, hiking and a picnic, the simple treasures of the outdoor world .. carbs can make one tired, I love pasta, it is my comfort food but there are a number of reasons why you could be feeling tired, you are doing lots of physical activity and enjoying the fresh air, sometimes a power nap is what is needed to re-energize .. our bodies always tell us what we need!

    the day was just perfect. I like spending outside when the weather is good. I guess I should let my body do as it tells me.. Now I want some caffeine!! 🙂
