What a fun ride at WHCC East! Just look at those smiling sweaty red faces. We all made it through the ride. I am proud to call these ladies my friends. Having people in your life is important, but finding people who have the same ambitions and goals is sheer bliss.
My life has had a lot of rough patches and there have been times when I wondered why I even care to move on, but then days like today happen, I am surrounded by love and respect and I remember why I’m here. Two of my closest friends said things to me yesterday that I hope to always remember, so I’m putting them in my journal:
Cheryl: You are one powerful, strong women! A true inspiration! Thank you for pushing me and helping me to feel comfortable with whatever I can do.
Mandi: I told someone the other day what a good friend u have been to me!
Does it get any better? Makes me a pretty damn lucky girl to have these ladies in my life.
The rest of my day was spent catching up on food and rest. I don’t think I was fully recovered from Thursday, so I had a late nap and now early to bed.
Confession – I ate a lot of fruit today. My sugars will be over; but my body was begging for it. 🍍🍇🍊🍌🍎
