Day 28, 29 & 30 – 30 Days of Discipline

February is such a silly month, 28 days.  Who came up with that?  It throws off my 30 Days schedule.  So today is 3 days rolled into one.  You’d think this day would be epic right?  It wasn’t really, it was normal; but there were so many good things today.  Jenna came out and we went to Shelley’s; she made us chicken noodle soup.  Then we all went to the Lajord Hutterite Colony to have coffee with the ladies.

This is such a fun time going there.  All the ladies gather and have coffee and snacks, visit and laugh. I enjoy the time there. And today, they sent us home a cheesecake pie and a pound of homemade butter….how cool is that?!!  And then….the girls brought in these slouch bags they sew and they were so great.  Loved the brown one and my sister bought it for me!  That was the best part of my day.

On the way home we stopped at an old church that sits by the road; we always drive by, never stop. A beautiful church abandoned as so many have been.  So glad to have finally explored it.

It’s crazy another 30 days has come to an end.  I learned so much about myself and the things I need to grow stronger in. It was an awakening to my weaknesses and a start to moving forward.  Tomorrow I start my new 30 day journey.  I have a few things planned for these days with my focus on Lent and my faith.
