Day 10-30 Days of Scripture Romans 10:17-21 14:19-23 2Corinthians5:6-7

Romans 10:19-21 First Moses says, “I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; with a foolish nation I will make you angry.” Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, “I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.” But of Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

Romans 14:19-23 Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for you to make others fall by what you eat; it is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that makes your brother or sister stumble. The faith that you have, have as your own conviction before God.

The scriptures lend themselves closely to my day. Tonight I keep my thoughts to my own. Instead, the words below are the most kind loving words spoken to me in a very long time:

“Rejection is God’s protection. You are better than that. Just think of what you have gained over all of the horrible, hurtful things you have been through. You have witnessed the love and support of your Jimmy that has been reconfirmed day after day after day! This is a love that is rare a love of sacrifice and commitment that rarely exists in our world today. That alone is a measure beyond compare. You have the love of your amazing girls that bring you so much pride and joy and you have to love of your dear friends like Mandi and Irma and Dave and ME! You have elevated body and your spirit to a new level with your discipline and inward focus and reading of scripture. God is truly directing your path and He will keep lighting the way.”
