Hoshi Akari, it means star light. Deedee calls me okasan, the word in which you address your mother as in the Japanese language. I love Deedee’s silly quirks and how she wants to be fully emersed in culture. I absolutely adore how she has given me a “special” name. Around here most moms are “Mom”, “mama”, “mommy”, and on bad days “mother.” Not me though, I’m okasan.
Deedee is sparkling star shining high in the galaxy. She is quiet and meek, but her brillance stands out anyways. She is innocent and pure, but at the same time she is wise her years. Deedee is radiant.
So from this day forth Deedee is Deedee no longer. She is hoshi akari, star light.
