By Faith, Not by Sight

OH MY GOODNESS. I can’t believe what’s happening right now. You know that feeling na alam mo kung anong nangyayari sa’yo and you’re happy about it, pero hindi mo maintindihan how it’s possible? Yun yung nararamdaman ko right now. So, I’ve mentioned in my previous entry that I am on my journey to renewing my faith in God. And oh boy, all good and perfect thing comes from Him! I’ve just received an announcement from our class that I have been exempted from taking the finals in the last two subjects that I have on Friday. Sobrang I’ve been praying “God, isang exam na lang itake ko sa Friday.” Because that other subject didn’t have exemptions for finals. Ready ako to take that one, but since I can not take the finals for the first one, I just prayed for it na lang. I already did everything I can on my part naman, so I just wanted God to do His part. And it may be scary as hell to let go and let God because you want to know how things are going to end, but that’s just not how it is. You won’t always know how things are going to end, you won’t always be able to control everything to make everything go the way you want it to. It’s during these times that you really have to let God take over. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) Live by faith, not by sight. God will not disappoint. 💜
